God's Love Note
11x14 oil. Sometimes in nature I see some of the most beautiful things. I feel like it is God sending me a love note.
Playing Piano
This is a portrait of my daughter I did with watercolor crayons. I used to play around with pastels but didn't like all the dust. Then I discovered the watercolor crayons. They're awesome! And I can varnish them. I do a few coats of Kamar varnish spray. After that one or two coats of liquitex gloss medium varnish and then brush on the Soluvar varnish.

Moonlight
Moonlight is a 5x7 oil. I love to paint small quick little master pieces. Painting small allows me to experiment without wasting a lot of paint. If the painting turns out horrible and doesn't want to go anywhere, no big deal. Of course even when a painting doesn't come out it is never a waste of time because I am always learning what does and doesn't work.
